Vancouver surf musician and producer Echo Frame releases a new single 'Belladonna', following on from the upbeat 'Red Carpet'. Echo Frame's music seems to draw reference from lo-fi indie artists like Mac Demarco, as well as funk and soul, with the optimistic grooves that are ever-present in his music. 'Belladonna' opens with indie guitar plucks that mirror the catchy vocal melody that re-surfaces throughout the song. Dreamy and carefree, the drums play on the ride, and the bass wanders around the fret board. Chorusey guitar strums are reminiscent of bands like Beach Fossils, whilst the vocals have a soulful undertone. 'Belladonna' evokes images of a long drive on a sunny day.
